    Guys,
I am looking for a cheap(er) belt fed. It will have to be a Browing 1919 or similar as I just don't see coming up with the cash for anything else? Maxims etc too big and not good looking. Any ideas. I just dropped 6k for a semi belt fed but it doesn't do it......My sub-guns are not fun any more! I should have bought in 86.....I shoulda...
    Thanks

Maxims are the cheapest, but you already ruled them out.

After that, the next cheapest thing is a M1919. Then you get into the real expensive shit.

There is nothing in your price range for belt fed machine guns except the Maxims 08/15.

The cheapest belt fed I have seen is an HK21 conversion with a sear. Your in the 20k range fast with this optioin. Mongo knows more about this than anyone so yu should give him some serious consideration and perhaps offer to buy him lunch. Actually buying Mongo lunch is good for any sort of information search you could imagine.
