Seems like a good deal at $191.80 / 1,000 rounds delivered for range practice ammo. (vs. $226.66 for Federal Champion at $10.47/50 box and 8.25% tax)

I've shot that same stuff in .40.
I had no issues with it whatsoever.
    Feeding - good.
    Fouling - normal.
    Accuracy - normal.

It's great stuff for spending a day at the range, in my opinion.
If anyone's had any negative experiences though, please speak up.

Y'know what? I hadn't thought of that. But you're right!

Poink88 - call ahead to your range of choice and see if they'll allow you to shoot it there. If they don't allow it, then you either have to find one that does, or get the ammo that isn't so well priced.

I really should have tried to explain that better.

Not saying aluminum cased ammo is going to KB more than whatever else.

But let's say you have two guns and you are shooting imported ammo in one and domestic ammo in the other and they both KB that day.

So you get on the phone to get the problem fixed. The manufacturer says they'll fix it, but you or the ammo company is going to have to pay. So you call up the domestic ammo producer and they do their thing and that gets all sorted out. Now you call the imported ammo company. How is that going to work?

A lot of the indoor ranges around me do not allow anything but brass. But I stock up on this type of stuff for the outdoor ranges just the same.

Back in 2006 or so I went thru a lot of Blazer 9mm because at the time I could buy it at Academy for $3.86/box.I still have three cases of it put away. I reload my own now with brass. Good stuff though.

I have seen issues w/guns not wanting to chamber the thicker cased stuff. In my buddys 357, he couldn't get blazer rounds to fully enter the cylinder. In my nines I have seen no issues but then again, I never have with any manufactured ammo I have put through them. For a dollar or two more per box, I would buy brass cased ammo(blazer is also available in brass cases) and collect my brass but that's just me. I hate to see some good "recyclable" metal go to waste.

Around here in H-Town most indoor ranges won't allow anything but brass, (just a thought)

Indoor ranges sweep the brass and sell it to reloaders or as scrap. Having to cull out the alluminum cases would reduce the profit greatly on the brass sales.

That is why they don't want it inside.

Absolutely nothing wrong with the ammo though. I used to use it back in the day when it was $3.50/50. Shot tons and it is physically lighter so yes, taking 500 rounds to the range won't pull your shoulder out.
