All, I have a quite finish-worn compact Kimber that I want to Cerakote to a deep deep blue - almost black with a satin finish. Think old school S&W finish. I’m going to pair that with some simulated ivory grips that my wife is ”scrimshawing” my current bestie “Koda”, and my departed bestie “Rascal”.
Question 1: If you have Cerakote experience with this color / finish, let me know how you like it and what specific color designation was used.
Question 2: I want to use someone in the North of Dallas area for the Cerakote, and for the applicator to be factory trained / factory certified (assuming that exists). The “locator” function on the Cerakote website doesn’t work.
Any recommendations?
