There's really not much difference.

Winchester LPPs are rated for both.

TRUTH: When comparing Magnum vs non-mag primers, most reviews/studies point to about a 4-5 fps difference in pistol cartridges (some of the bigger data sets point to quite a bit less than that, actually), and a 5-20 fps difference in 'some' rifle cartridges...
