I'll have to see how it works out.
When I'm done with it and organizing , building work spaces etc..I am planning on doing 2 solar panels and making the power off grid.
I will use LED lights and set some plugs around .. I have to budget my amps

    Roof is finished
I'm about 90% done considering the trim work left.

Then I'll start on the solar power and work benches inside

    I set a deadline of 1 July
Looks like I'll make it with a couple of weeks to spare

I was pleasantly surprised at how much cooler both sides were today when I opened them up at 5pm
They only catch sun on the ends now

Very cool build! I have 2- 40'ers that I want do the same set up with. Where did you get the trusses from?
The prebuilt steel trusses are available from just about any steel supply
Anyplace you can buy structural steel can get them for you.

    I looked into it
You just cant build them for what you can buy them for

I was just talking to my wife and showing her the pics of yours. I was thinking out loud saying I could build them. I am glad you posted the reply. I will be checking Corpus,Victoria and San Antonio steel places. What size/thickness tube did you use for the rafters? That came out very nice.

The lateral runners on top of the trusses are 10 gauge 2” square tubing.
I was going to use 4” purlin but the square was less per foot when I bought it
