    Hi,

Didn’t see much on this, except that there are more regulations (ie traveling to another state with NFA items) once a pistol is made legally into an SBR.

Is there anything preventing me from removing the stock so my HK SP89 is once again just a big cumbersome handgun?

    Yes you can. It's easy

Do you want to permanently remove it from the registry

    Out here by the lake!
You can still slap the end cap on while it's a sbr. You might want to leave it. When the day comes to sell it if someone was to buy it & want to SBR it then it would have 2 engravings.

Thanks guys. I like it way better as an SBR. So, I’d want to keep it on the registry.

Here at home, I’d want to keep it with the folding stock and k grip.

If you return it into its pistol configuration I believe you can travel with it without submitting the 5329.20 or whatever that form is
