While searching for something unrelated online, I saw a teardrop style camper with a platform on the front. The platform looked large enough to hold at least one dirt bike. The camper was big enough for a bed and had an outdoor kitchen.

With the cost of overnight accommodations in the Davis mountains and Big Bend area being what they are, I don't think a modest investment in a camper is out of the question.

My google skills must have deteriorated because I can't seem to find anything resembling it.

Was it just a dream? Anyone know what I'm describing? Better yet, anyone own one and can give a mini-review?

I'm leaving for South Padre for a week by way of San Antonio. I thought I might stop in at the mini-camper dealership in Burnett and query there.

There is one for sale in Burnett.
Looks nice, bit the platform is only 5x6.

Need to measure the bikes, but think it needs to be wider.

Only minions working there today, but said he thought they run about $12k

All of those look like they would be tongue-heavy when loaded.

True, but overall they’re pretty lightweight. Even with something like a quad on the front.

But to your point, they could very well have ~25% of total weight on the tongue, which isn’t ideal but is certainly better than having too-little tongue weight.

Depends on the tow vehicle I guess. Most of those look to be lightweight axles, and the front carrier doesn't look like it holds much more than a pick up bed. So if it's the same weight you could put in your pickup bed, the only real stress will be on the trailer. The truck will handle the tongue weight just fine.

This 2014 7x12 Interstate popped up on a motorcycle forum I frequent and well worth the money.
Travelling to Conroe to pick it up Tuesday.

    Trying again, correct forum.

My road bikes never saw a trailer. Then I sold the last one. Went a couple of years and bought a run-around fun bike. Then had to trade my mobile motel room for one with room for the bike (Cyclone). Then had to get a bigger tow vehicle, a 1t Ford SRW just didn't cut it. I swapped the Blue Oval for a Bowtie with training wheels.
