The joys of running a plastics company...
Last weekend I had the opportunity to test out some our BR Sheet, 3/4" (Level 1) Hygard Laminated Polycarbonate.
Oh yeah, we had some fun...
We built a protective shield out of 3/8" Polycarbonate at an angle to help deflect any ricochets that may had happened, as well, with 6" hole to shoot out of. We set the targets approx. 20 feet away; not the distance that this product was designed for, but as always safety first...
1st Pic:
The only ricochet we experienced was from a .38 sp hollowpoint. Luckily, it was about 10 feet to the right of us and very slow moving.

Profile of the .223
As everyone can see, Level 1 Hygard is no match to a rifle round. But it wasn't designed for rifles. Since my gun collection is limited, I was not able to test a .357, 10mm, .44, or .45. (One day).
Overall, I'm impressed with the product and now feel more confident when talking to my customers...
