Trying to decide on a grill for the outdoor kitchen I am building.

Does anyone have any experience with the broil king line of grills? The online reviews seem very positive overall.

I am limited to a built-in unit versus a freestanding unit so that limits some of my choices also.

No experience here, but are you looking at one locally?
They're made in Canada and shipping/service might be a problem.

So cool you're getting close to done. :)

    Home Depot has them.

(or rather you can order them and have them shipped to Home Depot)

Yes, I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel, and it is not that pesky train.

    Yay!
And, I hope the Home Depot down here runs different than the ones up north -
There, you ordered something to be shipped in, and they waited "until there were enough orders coming their way because of high shipping costs" (according to them), but they'd take your money now and let you know when (if) it arrived.

So far I’ve been happy with Home Depot down here. I ordered the doors and drawers for the Grillzebo and they actually came in two days early. Although it did not matter, as I was down with the stomach flu for that week lol

That's good to hear (not the flu part, lol).
Maybe the trick is to confirm they already have the grill you decide on in their warehouse - or at least in the States - so you dont have to wait for it to come from Canada. We waited over a month for something to be shipped from MI to ID.

I have owned a broil king grill for about 12 years. model 946-28. It is natural gas. my grill deck and cover are made from cast aluminum so it should last forever. The grates and the flavorizer bars last about 5 years. ( i might cook too hot with it) besides that I only had to replace the ignitor. I am very happy with my purchase. You can find almost all parts at appliancefactoryparts.com
