I don't mind saying I'm surprised, but I'm also in full support and lets do it instead of our taxes paying their room and board for the rest of their long lives.

The drugs are available. Everyone that has surgery gets those drugs. The problem is that they are off label for death row. I don’t mind using any method for execution. My issue is that with so many proven innocent by dna testing that only the obvious ones should be executed. My beliefs have changed as I have seen innocents freed.

This is a good post. It’s why death row inmates wait so long.

But yeah…if it’s obvious they did it send them to the range.

Utah was still using it until 2004. In 2015, they brought it back just in case there were issues with supplies of drugs and/or legality of lethal injection.
A quick Duckduckgo search advises the last guy "down range" was Ronnie Gardner - in SC - in 2010. Gilmore was the first guy to be executed after the death penalty was re-instated in the 70's.

I'm always reminded of the ending of Citizen X (1995), after the serial killer (Chikatilo) is found guilty, the Rooskies immediately lead him into a bare room with a drain in the middle if the floor. BANG. The End. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

WAG makes me want to say 30.06. Only logic behind that guess is the M1903 was likely used a lot for similar activities for a whole bunch of years.

How about using those millions of fentanyl pills flooding across the border courtesy of Biden and his border lackeys for criminal execution use? Seems to do well killing the average American junkie. No cost and quite effective. I don't think a off-label claim bypass would be considered viable for these drugs.

I’m actually against extreme deaths as I’ve gotten older. It would make us no better the third world countries.

Don’t get me wrong, if I knew someone was guilty of rape and child abuse id drive to Fort Worth to piss if they were on fire.

I think a fast death and not immortalizing criminals is the way to go. Let crimes and criminals get studied but remove them from society as soon as possible. We talk about tax dollars well let’s make it cheap and fast. A bullet to the head probably isn’t as cheap as we think because people still have to get paid to prep and clean the kill sites. Would make more sense to drug them and toss em in an incinerator. Less time spent cleaning up and can be done by one person.
