You deplorables are the first to know our new implant pricing. Yesterday I secured a deal to make this happen. It's not public yet so you have to ask for the TGT price if/when you call.

    Implant Deal
Implants are now $1300 each including consult, x-ray(s), IV sedation, healing abutment, and minor bone grafts. The only thing that would add to this price is if you need major bone grafting or if your dentist wants me to place a different style of abutment. The crown is an additional fee. If you need a referral I know a great dentist that will make the crown for $999 all-in. This is the lowest price I have seen for a board-certified oral surgeon placing name-brand implants with IV sedation and everything else included.

Replacing All the Teeth with Implants Deal
We're also now offering all-inclusive pricing for what is called All-on-4 or dental hybrids. That's the thing where we remove all the teeth in a jaw, place dental implants, and place temporary screwed-in teeth in one (long) day. We're using name-brand (Neodent) dental implants. The teeth are made by a prosthodontist (that's another dental specialist). After about four months of healing the final teeth are made. This is the same thing you see advertised on TV.

$19,900 per jaw for traditional plastic teeth, $20,900 for zirconia (ceramic) teeth. Includes everything - extractions, a minimum of 4 implants per jaw, bone grafts, gum grafts, IV sedation, consults, x-ray(s), temporary teeth, and final teeth along with our standard 5 year implant warranty available on our website.

I know that seems high if you haven't shopped it but, believe me, that is $10,000 per jaw less than the famous guys and the lowest price I know of anywhere for a board-certified oral surgeon and board-certified prosthodontist doing the work. We do a lot of these, it's not something we dabble in nor is it the most complex thing I do.

Thats a heck of a price. I'm pretty sure you won't find a better deal . If you do, I would question it. Also worth mentioning, is this being done by private practitioners. Much different than those large corporations that push people through quickly like a fast food joint.

That is a good price. I already have my bone grafts in. I have no molars on my bottom jaw and need two implants I'll have to talk to my dentist about it. I don't do IV sedation. I've never done it. I'm the best patient you could ever have I don't fuss and I can keep my mouth open for hours.

If any of you have an extraction and a socket bone graft (aka socket preservation graft) is recommended, be a little skeptical. For front teeth they are helpful & often necessary. For molars & templars they are usually not helpful or necessary.

When I take out a back tooth I tell patients a graft is only reliable for about a year. It can last longer but it may not. If you're going to have an implant within a year or so the graft probably won't help. So, in most cases, a socket graft doesn't help for back teeth. Upper back teeth may need a sinus lift which is not the same as a socket graft.

My opinion is socket grafting is oversold.

Of course there are exceptions. I'm just giving a general opinion, not specific advice.

Well, I've already had colleagues start to make a little noise about these deals. I know they seem like high prices but if you've priced it out you know they're deals. The initial reactions scares me a little but I think I'm going to double down on it & buy more ads. Yeah, it's changing things in the industry but I'm OK with that.

    TX OMFS,

Who comprises the biggest group (if such exists) that get dental implants?

    Primarily accident victims?

Or, folks who over the years have done a poor job of taking care of their teeth or...?

    Thanks!

It's people who would have gotten dentures in the past but now want implants so their new teeth stay in their mouth. The biggest group are people who've lost teeth over the years and/or remaining teeth are so bad that repairing them is too expensive or not possible.

For less money you can put snaps in a regular denture that comes in & out of the mouth but snaps to implants when you're wearing it. Makes the denture more stable but it's still removable.
