    I read Jackson's book and it was good, but then found he's not for citizens being armed for self-defense.

    So far it's worth the read.........not only the story of Jack Hinson, but a history of the war that runs parallel to he and his family's life.......exhaustively researched and well written, imho......

    He talked like a shit salesman with a mouthful of samples (very hard to understand) but he was opposed to >5 round cap magazine & the civilian ownership of AR.

    I have read several of the Longmire Mystery novels by Craig Johnson. Some of you may have watched the Longmire show on A&E / Netflix, and its based on the books.
