Not an official member but shoot there frequently. It’s a good place. We also
Have Ritchies gun club for clays and sleet and Shooters Station for indoor shooting rifles as well. The two latter are on 105.
San Jacinto Shooter's Supply operates inside the building at Blackwood, so they're the only range in Conroe with reloading supplies. It's a decent range and the folks running it seem to be pretty good to work with. Ranges go out to 200 yards.
Shooter's Station, on 105 west of Conroe, is also an excellent range, and it's indoors. Longest range is 100 yards. Good inventory of guns (usually). Gunsmith on site.
Trinity Armory in Cleveland has a very nice range with many stations and I think they go out to 300 yards. Good inventory of guns. Very friendly people.
Spring Guns & Ammo operates a small, indoor pistol range and store in The Woodlands, and a larger indoor facility with rifle and pistol ranges in Spring (on 2920). The Spring facility can get extremely busy on weekends.
Saddle River Range is just north of The Woodlands. It's indoors and has not only firearm ranges but also bow and arrow ranges. Expect to pay more at Saddle River than anywhere else - they're kinda "upscale". Also, you can't use your own ammo or retrieve brass.
Thunder Gun Range is just south of Conroe. I haven't shot there in years, so I hesitate to say anything about them. When I did go there it was, well, strange.
Carter's Country is south of Spring. They have been there forever and have a large inventory of guns, ammo, reloading supplies, etc. Just about the only gun store that has ads in the newspaper & TV. While they have a lot to offer, it's not hard to find long threads full of complaints about the way the place is operated. I avoid the place religiously.
