We're going to try to see it at Navasota maybe. Some friends up in the Midwest went to a stop. They said that she was running early, and when they got the 30min BEFORE the scheduled stop, they got to watch it just pulling out. So definitely don't be late.

I saw it up in N. TX a few years ago. Worth the look. My sister said when it rumbled into her little village in IL the dogs, cats and other animals freaked. You do want to be there on arrival and/or departure.

I saw it up close and personal in Denver, over 50 years ago! I even got blasted with a bit of steam, because the engineer thought that I was too close!

Traveled to Navasota today to watch Union Pacific Engine #4014 roll into town.

Its the last of eight manufactured during WWII, and is the only functioning example of the largest steam engines ever built.

It was a much bigger crowd than we expected. It was great to see so many young families in attendance.
