    2ManyGuns,

I've fired a friend of mine's .375 BUT saw NO reason to buy one as it is little more powerful than the so-called "HI-SPEED" .38-55WCF & is considerably less powerful than my CB handloads for my 9.3X62mm.

That said, the .375 WIN is a good caliber for a wide variety of American Big Game & it is commonly available in the "handy" Model 94 Big Bore..
(I'M NOT sure that the .375 WIN is a GREAT caliber for the BIGGEST BEARS. = IF I HAD "to face" a Grizzly or Polar Bear at "close range", I would want my 9.3X62 for that task. )

    yours, satx

    Somewhere in Texas!
I found this a couple years back in a brick n mortar, it looked new and I had never seen one before. The background story was that it was a backup for a gent that did the big game hunts. I don't know if this was true, but I have a soft spot for Winchesters and the unusual. Unusual, meaning I didn't know shit about it! It was $950 plus a full box of rounds and a box of spent cartridges to reload. I purchased 5 more boxes online so I would have them.
