As far back as I can remember the U.S. has made exceptions for political refugees fleeing countries of strife. Cuba has been a country where many have fled to the U.S. throughout my lifetime. How can the Biden Administration say "no" now to Cubans, while saying "catch and release" to thousands that are for the most part NOT refugees? This is a disgrace!

Because the Cuban refugees would destroy the socialist narrative of the Democrats. As the editorial pointed out some years ago, if the Democrats knew the illegals would vote Republican, the U.S. border wall would rival the Iron Curtain so it seems the editor was right as 70 miles of shark infested waters will do the trick.

You don't understand. Cubans are not reliable Democratic party voters.
Exactly, the Imposter and Thief, the Ho, and the Wicked Witch from out West, can not allow Cubans, since with their knowledge of Communism's realities, they would most certainly be Republican leaning, not Demonrat_Socialits!

Since they wanted to make PR a state, let's add PR and Cuba. One for each side. Seems fair.

Even better, the new head of DHS - Alejandro Mayorkas, said the Cubans could not stay even if they made it to the U.S.

The rest of the story: Mayorkas was brought to the U.S. from Cuba by his parents fleeing as refugees! Just when you think the Biden Administration can get any weirder, things like this happen.

YEP, you nailed it. This is exactly why they don’t want Cubans here. They only want those that they can keep on welfare and relying on a Democratic Party gov’t for every aspect of their existence.
