No. Back in Dallas. Snow storm shut down the interstate headed north. Could not have hunted if I wanted to. We left 7 am yesterday.

I inadvertently ended up with a whitetail tag up there. No dice. Didn’t see any signs of whitetail. No Tracks, no scrapes. Nothing. Won’t do that again. Saw crap tons of antelope and mulies.

From Tuesday afternoon. Got out just in time.

A little warmer ( haha) at 43 degrees this morning , but a 25+ mph wind. No idea what that equates to in elevation riding into it, but pedaling my ass off the first half I only managed about 10mph.

Warmer and windy 49 degrees and 25 mph
Rode bike paths to let buildings block some of the wind but getting hit on the side with a 30mph gust will make you alert, lol.

I’m kind of late to this thread, but like a lot of you, I ride my bike for recreation and exercise. At 75 I need to keep everything moving. I ride 13 miles a day on a single speed Trek cruiser in just over an hour. Today was a challenge with the wind we had blowing. While riding into the wind I was pedaling hard forward, but felt like at times i was going backwards. Makes for a good cardio workout. I’ve loved riding a bicycle since I was a kid…guess I am still a kid at heart.
