Exactly. It also depends upon the fire. You have to look at the specs on the fire rating. How high of a temperature, and for how long. In the event the fire is bad enough, that the stricture is a total loss, regardless of the fire rating of the safe, the guns will more than likely gone.Do your research on "fire rating" before you spend all that cash thinking your firearms are protected when they may simply be in a melting can. In other words, consider other methods to protect/prevent fires and consider the safe your method to protect from theft.
