$3 Trillion for the oil and gas industry to pay. How does $20/gallon for gas sound with no raise in the 4 years? And home electricity? Gonna cost more than a house payment each month. But think of all the "free" stuff.

This in it's self is a complete joke. No one is forced to drive a vehicle with an internal combustion engine. Walking, bicycles and horses are still an option. While he's cutting America's throat trying to "save the world", the rest of the planet will continue doing whatever they want to.

~75% of crude does go for fuel, the other 25% we are wearing, driving, living in, eating out of and typing on. The Oil & Gas industry will be around for a long, long time.

For the electricity, better go nuclear for efficiency if coal and LNG are out. We can only damn up so many rivers for hydro. It's a known fact that the construction/maintenance cost coupled with the short life span of wind vs the output makes them highly inefficient. I mean it's a good "clean" idea and all, it just doesn't work.

But hasn't that always been the case with socialism?

Sounds nice on paper, everyone is equal. But the reality is, bring everyone down to the lowest possible level and make them equal that way.

Yes, but at least the media are the ones leading the charge. The media realizes Bernie and Biden both got screwed on the last go around because they and the Dems in power wanted Hitlary. So the media tries to play impartial but Bernie is starting to take the lead. The media is just going with it for favorable ratings, but in reality, they hate Bernie's ideas because the media (like Bloomberg) are just a bunch of rich folks who only preach things during voting time, they don't want to act on it. They're scared Bernie will come after their money (even if/when it doesn't get spent on all the promises like every other socialist attempted government).

That leaves the media in a position they pretend to cover and support Bernie right up until after he gets the nomination, but before the general election. Then they're faced with, help elect Bernie who might take their wealth, or help elect trump, who they are pretty sure is the devil, but at least they get to stay rich.
