Benchmade 551 Griptilian Play in Blade

I bought a Benchmade 551SBK back in December, and for the most part its been a great knife, but the blade does have a little side-to-side play and also some up-and-down play. When I tighten the hinge it just locks the blade. Just curious if the play is normal on the Griptilians.

If you've never had to contact Benchmade for service, get ready to be impressed. At least that's been my experience.

No thanks lol, I really like the knife. I contacted Benchmade and they told me a little bit of up and down play is normal, but there should be no side to side. I'll mail it in on monday for warranty.

Buy a short run custom. Those don't have any play.
