    Last evening I made some chicken salad for sandwiches. I used the canned chicken, that is similar to the size of the the tuna in a can. Bad decision! That was the most awful tasting stuff I have ever put into my mouth, and the more I ate, the worse it tasted.

    I'll stick with chicken I have cooked from now on for chicken salad!

    So what foods or recipes have you tried that came out horrible tasting?
    They are only kidding about when they say that stuff is good forever. Did the date start with 19?

    Eh, canned chicken (at least Tyson brand) is ok if you season it. Just remember straight out of the can the only thing it's been "seasoned" with is brine. If you want a flavor besides "holy crap this chicken is salty" you've gotta do that yourself. I've used it for chicken alfredo dozens of times with good results (seasoned with copious amounts of basil, garlic, and oregano), because I've got a house full of hungry mouths and limited funds.
