This is nothing "official", but "Baby" is now a full-fledged ATF Agent.

He doesn't talk much, but, the best I can get out of him is that the Agency currently has little interest in folks like us or the "little mistakes" we can make.

Since Trump took over, they are trying to actively prosecute EVERY SINGLE "felon in possession" in which another current crime was attempted or committed. They are filing federal charges on these. No "pleading down".

This is opposite from Obama/Holder/Clinton policy.

Baby tells me that they are very,very busy with investigation of these, and in getting the bad guys with guns away from the public. As in "putting them away".

Sounds like Good News to me.

No one with integrity works for the ATF very long or at all. They way they treat Americans and their property is one step below brown shirts. They destroy lives and generations of heirloom firearms by tossing them into trash cans or on the ground destroying their value all before any crime has been alleged much less tried. Some of the games they play with charging multiple highly dubious crimes causing people to plea or go bankrupt. Let's not forget the rampant civil forfeiture BS where the gun owners are never even charged or charges dropped but the ATF prosecutes the actual seized property for essentially being "bad" requiring you to get a lawyer for your guns to try to keep them.

Phuck the ATF.

Let's not forget the huge run of knives they had made up for agents. They were imprinted with "ATF..Always Think Forfeitures"

I suggest a agency change before permanent damage is done to ones reputation and integrity.

You should ask your friend what he thinks about Border Patrol agents named Brian and people who live in Waco. ATF seems to not be too keen on them.

Sorry, but when you choose to work with an organization created from the ground up to trample on what little rights we have left, you are no better than the scu... People who gave our forefathers reason to codify our rights, and shoot the ones that tried to prevent that in the face.

Who are these supposed felons? Hard core gang members who are just going to get their gun charges pleaded away anyways, and be back out in the street, armed within at most a few years? Or everyone else who the ATF doesn't like?

Sure it does! Trust tend to have multiple people on them. Those people all need to be checked out. Form 4 individual is one person to checkout.

Let’s check ourselves at the door of this thread with that line of conversation as LeVieux is passing along what his son, who happens to be an agent, is telling him.

Blanket statements about dog shooting and right’s stomping from the top down in that agency belong somewhere else.
