I have only shot on the small arms range on FT Hood- never had a need to go anywhere else to shoot my guns. Well.....guess I need to take my happy butt away from the relative quiet and safety of my local post range and find somewhere else.
Gonna try Astro Shooting range today. It seems to be the closest range which comes recommended. Hope I don't run into dozens of people hemorrhaging on the range trying to figure out which way the bullets come out. I've been to Eagle Range once and they had a no spectator" rule- AWESOME. Hope Astro support the same.
Will file a range report when complete. I know there are many FT Hood Soldiers on this forum, now that many of us have redeployed....
