i bought a storage unit a while back and this stock was included. on the inside it says "REM 700 BDL STN 2720" has what looks like a texture paint job. i dont know what exactly it fit since i tried it on my 30/06 and the action cut out doesnt alight with the stock but does fit in and bolt on. has a ramline cap but i dont know if the stock is also ramline. the recoil pad looks like it was glued on. the stock has a small cut out wher the safety is but i dont know if it was cut out at the factoryorthe previous owner did it. this stock is by alll means not a showcase stock but is it great for a truck gun or to replace the nice wood one while on hunts. asking $20 or trade for a box of .40s&w or 30/06
