I've always wanted to do this, and I may even have a line on used bowling pins, at least a few cases. I even bought a couple guns in case I ever found a match. No luck so far. I'm looking for low key, I'm not hyper competitive, not that there's anything wrong with that; it's just not me. I'm through with stressing over anything.
I wouldn't mind shooting steel either, I just don't know how to go about it or what is involved. I used to shoot IHMSA but OKC doesn't run that anymore and the only two matches nearby are New Braunfels and sweetwater, a drive I'd prefer not to make just for that. Haltom City doesn't seem to do any IHMSA stuff anymore either. I would even try air pistol if I had a place to shoot.
