10 to 14 inch handguard needed for my build. I can get a lightweight one for 81 dollars online plus shipping, but I wanted to see what the community has on hand. As long as it's Mlok that's what I am looking for.

Is that $81 handguard aluminum? I really dislike aluminum, because it is either cold or hot...

    I have bought 4 of these... 12" is $39.99.

The company sells others that are aluminum and others that are carbon fiber appearance, but these are a flat black polymer (supposedly carbon fiber reinforced), but regardless, they are very light, very rigid, and very inexpensive. They have two anti-rotation tabs. M-lok at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock, full length picatinny. The QD sockets are brass inserts molded in and the barrel nuts are aluminum. Fit to receiver is decent. Unbranded, surely made in China...

Yeah, OK, they are too cheap to be any good, so don't even look...

Speaking of AR handguards, which MOE handguard would be the right length for a 16" PSA Freedom M4?

I have the MOE SL on mine - works well! The cutout around the front sight post gives a couple of extra inches of hand guard from the standard carbine versions.

I bought it LOL it didn't come with a barrel nut so I had to order one.
All of mine have come with an aluminum barrel nut and 2 rail sections contained inside the forend as stated in the description.

I don't know what happened with yours, but I would have contacted them rather than just buying a barrel nut...

I should learn never to recommend anything, especially Mexican Restaurants, but apparently gun parts also!

Sorry your first experience with the company was a bad one.
