    If you have regrets you can easily replace the modified parts with same or better.

    Eh not really on a pinned Front Sight Base. They're drilled and pinned for a specific barrel. I looked into this a while back and that was the info I found on Arfcom.

    I'd still consider doing it because then you'll have a super solid pinned low profile gas block.

    Not only that you but you can put a longer hand guard on it.
