Hey all, looking for an armorer/smith in SATX that can help me out (I’ll pay). I have a barrel with a pinned gas block I want removed, a barrel nut installed, and the gas block reinstalled.

The gas block was an f post that’s been cut down. I’mtrying to avoid needing a new gas block if I can help it.

Anyone have recommendations on an armorer/Smith?

Is there a reason you can't just punch out the pin and do this yourself?

Try Mason at Montechama Firearms in Boerne. No guarantee he’ll take the work, but if he does you’re in good hands.

Yes. I do not have a bench set up right now to do proper work holding and I’m trying to get the rifle together. If I can’t find someone to do it I’ll I’ll get around to it in a few weeks.

    Do you have a recommendation?

    Sons of Liberty Gun Works.

But what you are needing is pretty easy work for anyone familiar with AR platform.

oh I know it’s easy. I’m just not set up to do it right now and with my work schedule being what it is I’m not going to have time to get it squared away for a while.

I want the rifle up so I’m willing to throw some money at it.

Modern elite on 281 can probably help. They have AR builder classes
