Our general San Antonio meet rules are:
Rule #1 The Gun Is Always Loaded!
Rule #2 Never Point The Gun At Something You Are Not Prepared To Destroy!
Rule #3 Always Be Sure Of Your Target And What Is Behind It!
Rule #4 Keep Your Finger Off The Trigger Until Your Sights Are On The Target!
Rule #5 ABSOLUTELY NO HANDLING of guns, ammo, gear, or standing near benches when range is cold. You will be asked to leave and barred form any further activities with this group

Generally speaking, we meet on the handgun range from noon until two p.m., give or take. Depending on member interest, and with a month's notice, we can move a meet to shotgun/clay or rifle.
Generally lunch is from two pm until we get tired of talking. Location to be determined.
Again, safety is rule number one at any meet. If you are new to guns, need extra assistance, etc., please do not hesitate to ask. TGO has the friendliest, and most helpful, group of shooters you'll ever meet.

We may have to rotate this event to some of the other ranges in town, I've got nothing against Bexar but it's on the other side of town from some of us and over 40 miles each way for me!

Oh, and TexasIslandBoy, if you click on Dcav's link you'd find the meet's scheduled for Sunday, April 24, 2011 starting at noon!

This is a pre-set meet from another forum, they've been good to us (Bexar Range) its like 4 bucks to shoot for the DAY when you buy there membership. I would be willing to rotate the ranges around make some suggestions. We have anywhere from 5 to 40 people show for a meet so keep that in mind when suggesting meets.

How much is it a day if you don't purchase a membership? I've heard good things about that range, but it's too far away from me to bother spending the money on a membership...

Sterling is correct, 10.00 bucks (pretty modests fee;s IMO) I also realized this meet is on Easter........stand by for mission shift.

We are (texas gun owner) going to combine the austin and san antonio meets this month due to the Easter holiday. Sorry about the mistake all. Come on out to the Austin meet if you can.
