Anza Knives

Bought me a couple a week ago. Made to order, but got them in just over a week.

Wanted a new skinning knife, but when I saw the elk horn / bocote wood handle, had to have it.

These are great quality knives that are made from files, so hardened steel. They hold an edge for a long time. Sheathes are high quality too. And they come with a razor sharp edge.

Cost?

Under the tutelage of a great knife maker, I've made 4 knives out of 440 Vanadium with micarta handles.

Anyone who makes custom knives puts in a 'ton' of work.

I didn't count, but I'd guess I put in 25 hours per knife.

Anza is quality.......yes they use old files......older files were of high quality steel and make fine blades, imho...

Anza used to buy/barter old files.....if they still do....might be worth picking up some of those old quality files at garage/yard sales.................
