Anyone use a Gold dot?

Like the title asks, does anyone use a gold dot? Does it get washed out against dry grass, or easy to see? There's a decent deal on a Holosun but it's a gold dot. I'm curious how it works in the real world.

No experience with holosun, but every amber Trijicon and meprolight ive used wash out like crazy.

It always seems likes it's more how the target is lit, direct sun light or bright florescent, forget about it.

Gold bead on the front sight works better.....
