Anyone going to these shows?

McAllen: Sept 21/22nd

I haven't been to the Al Amin one in a few years and have never been to the McAllen show. It seems like all the shows these days are the same people with the exact same overpriced guns since 2015.

I'm not looking to get something for free, but damn, some of this stuff is ridiculous. I always benchmark the new stuff against my dealer pricing and its actually pretty competitive - its the used stuff that's ridiculous.

I miss the good old days when you could get deals on something. I'm hoping the McAllen show will be a good one.

My last trips to gun shows have left me feeling that I wasted the time, gas and entry fees.
I may go to McAllen as it's before I leave for Annual Training at Camp Shelby a few days later.

The internet killed the best gun shows. The dealer with the best things figured it out and went online. Being an old fat gimpy guy there’s just to much crap to want to walk around.

I have set up at gun shows safari clubs and even SCI in Vegas and Reno. And there really is no reason to waste a weekend setting up or going to a show if you have a decent website.

It's hard to find a deal even there.
