Any Ruger No. 1 Aficionados on the Forum?

I have a couple of Ruger No. 1's. I used to have several more. I haven't shot them in years and I considered selling one of them to fund buying something that I would shoot more. Then, I take them out of the safe and they are just too pretty to sell. They seem to be pretty scarce these days. Do we have any Ruger No. 1 collectors among us?

I had an International #1 that had some really fantastic feather crotch wood.
7x57 that I traded a Ruger BlackHawk for. I sold it to help fund a vacation. As nice as it was I'm still okay with letting go I looked for years for a 25-06 to replace it but never found a nice one.

One of my remaining #1's is the international model in 30-06. It is also a tack driver. I don't think I will ever part with that one.

The last gun show I went to awhile back a guy had a table full of #1s. No 45-70 though.

I've got the 30-06 International and the #1V heavy barrel in 22-250. Both are beautiful guns.

Ruger #1's are beautiful rifle's. I've owned 3 of them over the years- heavy barreled 223 and 25-06, and a 300 WM. The problem with them is they either shoot great, or they don't.
For what they cost, they should all be tack drivers, but they aren't!

20" on the 30/06 and 26" on the 22-250. The 30/06 is very handy for hunting. It feels very compact.
