So, I installed the SKR mini and BL touch yesterday and havent been able to set it up correctly yet. I spent about 6 hours working on it and learning how to tweak firmware in vscode, to no avail. Maybe make another pass at it today.

I upgraded mine with a BL Touch and got a direct drive. The BL Touch is a pita on the Ender 5 Pro to get setup. Once it works, it’s well worth the trouble. I’m 2 days into printing a scorpion right now

Your supports look great, minimal usage, i bet that is seriously cutting the print time down. This was my last print.

The Z axis on mine would stop working when I did Auto Home. Had to disable the stepper motors and manually move it to the middle and perform Auto Home again to get it to work

When setting the z offset, mine will not let me scroll to a negative value. It just stops at zero. Once I get that fixed I will probably be ok. I would also like it to do a 6x6 grid vs a 3x3.

That looks great, I’ve been tinkering with the supports. Hopefully the rest hold up. I had 2 break early on cause they too thin. I made my Banzi Bill with no supports and it came out great

I try to print without supports if I can. Some models can be a real bitch to print properly and CURA will miss supports from time to time.

Got home and no more supports broke. According to cura I still have like 6 more hours but seems like I’m down to the minutes with just the corner

I've been using 3D printers for 15+ years now. I have a Prusa MK3S+ at home that I use all the time for all kinds of things. Have not tried printing frames or receivers yet. But I've printed vice blocks, armorers block, and designed a custom IWB spare Mag holster for my M&P9.
