I’ve always wanted a P08 and finally bought one this weekend. I was going for a shooter but this one turned out to be all numbers matching original. So I would still like to shoot it but would like to have someone who is knowledgeable on these to inspect it so I hopefully prevent anything from breaking so I can keep it numbers matching.

Suggest that you check extractor ejector and all small parts for freedom of movement and especially that the tiny spring that holds the takedown lever in place over the sideplate. I have seen several blow the sideplate during rapid fire when the spring was missing. I shoot 1906 and later regularly without breaking anything, if you shoot a 1900 then buy a spare extractor and shoot with the new one.
