I can’t find any web info regarding Bullseye competitions in Houston area. Anyone know of any?

Sort of. It's not really a waiting list any more. There will be a time when the "waiting list" opens. On that day, at the exact time the list/applications open, be at your computer, refreshing the web page. The available slots fill up immediately, often within a few minutes; note that the last "waiting list" was only open for 4 hours. IIRC, it completely filled with 200+ folks within an hour.

As an aside, every time the Bayou Rifles membership is going to open, I do my very best to post here on TGT so as to remind people if they want a membership they need to be prepared.

Elsewhere on TGT, there are threads that discuss the process and the culture of the club. I suggest you do some reading here, here, and, of course, the Greater Houston Gun Ranges thread. That'll get you started. Note that some of the info in those threads is old and may be out of date. Still, the basics will be right.
