I am needing help finding more information about my antique rifle. I know some about it but I believe the exact gun I have may be a rare example that was a one off production made for something specific. Anyone here know a lot about antique firearms?

There are several experts in antiques and unusual firearms on this forum.
A general time frame of production and action type would help us point you in the right direction.
    Muzzle loader? Cartridge? Etc...

We can't help much without a bit more information.

@Mad John is a good resource
He's great but he's not here right now. We talk or correspond regularly and I feel sure he'll be back but he's too busy to do anything on here for a while. Totally our loss but I completely understand where he's coming from.

Now, OP, good pictures of the firearm means overall, close-ups of all notable sections, and readable photos of any markings. Make them available here and there's a good chance someone or a collection of folks will help you out. That's sort of a thing we do on this forum.

    Come on, man!

That's clearly Wyatt Earp's Colt Buntline, presented to him by the citizens of Dodge City.

You can clearly tell by the engraving on the badge inset into the grip panel.

Y'all just didn't want to tell him because you were hoping he would sell it and you could pick it up cheap!
