Hello Vaquero,
Yes, in 2003 I made my JMB pilgrimage. That year, the BCA was having their annual meeting at Union Station in Ogden. We visited the museum, his home, the cemetery where he is buried, and a building where Browning Brothers store was located. We also got to visit Browning headquarters and the Browning Outlet store in nearby Morgan.
In a corner of the museum is a space where Browning’s workshop has been recreated in minute detail. It is not hard to imagine him bending over his tools working on one of his amazing creations.
This trip is worth taking. I had an amazing time there. I hope you get to go.

Welcome. I lived in Friendswood for 50+ years. Back when all the roads were dredged oyster shell that flooded at the first drop of rain and there was only a yield sign at 518 & 2351. Since then I've moved to the hill country and love it here.

Hello toby1,

You certainly saw a lot of changes in Friendswood during your time here. Luckily, being retired, we can pick and choose when we want to go places. Due to the volume of work hour traffic, we don't even try to venture out at those times. But we still like it here...and in the hill country too.
Love the hill country. I hunted in the Mountain Home area for years. We like the Fredricksburg area also.
