Yeah... I suppose that would work if you don't mind Apple having every bit of information that resides on your Apple devices. Personally I find it repulsive that I can not simply back up "my" data to "my" pc without giving that information away. I've decided to dump the iPad I will manually transfer, as in key the information in again, anything I deem worthy of keeping. I'm going with are: iTunes. You don't need it anymore. Apple devices will backup to iCloud and restore from iCloud. I can't even remember the last I've used iTunes with my iPhone or iPad. I know my kids never have, ever.

I prefer to not willingly hand my data over to the powers that be at Apple. In no way do I condem those that choose to do so.This. I’m 100% Apple in my house and it all backs up to iCloud seamlessly.

Lol... in reality that not saying much. Think about it...Apple will be way more secure in iCloud than ANYTHING Google or Windows might store.

Thanks but my interest lies in a notebook sized 2-in1. Pretty sure I’m getting a Samsung Galaxy Flex Alpha 2-in-1 with Windows 10 Home o/s.Got some new laptops for my kids a few months ago before the demand surged. I still have some older i-7 laptops I might trade for ammo some time.
Those are really nice. Beautiful screens. Thanks but my interest lies in a notebook sized 2-in1. Pretty sure I’m getting a Samsung Galaxy Flex Alpha 2-in-1 with Windows 10 Home o/s.
LOL.... yeah I'm aware of the Home shortfalls - or at least some of them.Upgrade windows 10 home to windows 10 pro if your new pc/tablet come with the home version. You’ll thank me later.

Security and inability to manage/control updates are the most glaring for me.As a future buyer, can one of yall explain why?
Worth it, especially for the memory. I'm surprised at how expensive it is for those specs, tho. I bought a Chrome book with 8GB of ram for $400 back in Feb. It's stupid fast running anything made for Chrome, plus it runs any Linux program fine, too. Kdenlive struggles a bitThat $185.00 gets me a newer/faster processor, 50% more memory and double the storage capacity.
The faster CPU, the extra RAM and 2x the storage space is probably worth the price uplift.
And being new, you get the full-term warranty. That's worth something too.
(PS: That 16GB of storage on your iPhone isn't the same thing as the 12GB on the computer... the computer has 512GB of those. Your iPhone probably has 1GB of memory)
