An open letter to Leonardo DiCaprio and the people that cast him in films.

Leonardo DiCaprio,

I think you're a pretty decent actor. I think you've been shunned at times during your early career for being typecast in the "pretty boy" roles, but it didn't detract from your ability to bring your roles like Romeo + Juliet to life. Things have changed in recent years, however -- and once again you seem to be the typecast kind of guy. So my question to you is this: What the **** is up with you and that ****ty fake accent you do in every movie for the past, oh, decade?

It's like an "I've never actually spent time in Boston, New York, or Jersey but talking this way makes it look like I'm actually getting into my roles a little bit more" kind of accent.

Let's take a trip down memory lane, shall we?

Inception? Accent.
Shutter Island? Accent.
The Departed? Accent.
The Aviator? Accent.
Catch Me If You Can? Accent.
Gangs of New York? Accent.
Titanic? Accent.

I don't think I saw the other ones, but there it is.

So in closing, I'd just like to say: **** you, Leonardo DiCaprio. You don't fool me. Knock that **** off.
