Don't take for granted that certain things are impossible - be prepared for the improbable, just in case.

Mostly finished my ammo inventory yesterday. Not bad but not nearly as much as I had when up in NY. Sold a lot of it before leaving there since the logistics of transporting it were just too much of a PITA and because the rental vans available to me did not have a cage between the driver & cargo. Did not want to lose my head in an accident by getting hit by a can of 45 rounds.

Anyway, with what brought here and what I have been stocking up on since I moved to TX, I figure I am good to go should an ammo buying frenzy escalate to Ammoageddon like it did last time. Placed my latest order today for 200 rounds of 300 grain 44 REM MAG and 500 rounds of 7.62x39mm brass cased ammo. Ordered 1K of 45 ammo a day or three ago and just got a delivery of 38 special today. Sometimes I order a little - like an order of 100 rounds of 7.62x54R ammo a week or two ago and sometimes more, like a case of 9mm a month or two ago. It all has free shipping with Prime membership at Target Sports USA. Ordered a bit more over the past few days than I would have normally for a month because of the current frenzy. I do not want to have to pay for it once the prices go sky high. Once I get this stuff, I'll have enough for the next presidential term unless maybe we have a civil war.

Many sites are out of steel cased 7.62x39mm and of low priced brass cased 9mm. I also noticed a few sites saying that shipping times will be longer than usual. Off the top of my head I think Target Sports USA says expect 10 days before shipping and SG Ammo said up to 14 days. Palmetto State Armory just kept telling me I was temporarily banned by their site which I am guessing is due to site issues because I certainly did not do anything to get myself banned. My guess is it is going to get worse before it gets better. Hmm, maybe I should check into buying some 22 short and 300 WIN MAG... I don't have to think about it - I literally stopped typing this post to go order a case of 300 WIN MAG and a brick of 22 Short. Now I am set.

I got in under the wire with all my orders at Target Sports USA. Placed an order on Saturday and two more on Monday, all are en route. Taking a bit longer than usual but not anything like the delay they are saying is now in effect. Right now, they have a notice on their homepage that there is a 12-15 day delay for shipping orders.

ONE major difference is that most of the people who believed that DJT had no chance against HRC were LEFTISTS & this is still a center-right Republic.

No I do not; I am not a seer. However, I have seen the unexpected, even the unbelievable happen before and believe and have witnessed that the very improbable can happen. I never believed a socialist like Obama could be elected president but there he was elected twice and screwing over our country big time. Today, just look at who is likely going to be the Democrat nominee; I never thought a brain dead commie could get it and it looks like he will (I believe Biden is a commie just as much as Sanders - just that Sanders is more open about it). Bernie the socialist/commie had a chance but Biden the brain dead commie is leading the pack - no I never envisioned it until the recent primaries that he won! Then again, I never expected either of them to make it this far.

I also never expected 9/11. Did you ever think a coordinated attack on the U.S. by terrorists would take out thousands of innocent people in one day across a few states here in the U.S.? I was somewhat ready for the shortages and upheaval that took place then.

I did not envision a storm like Super Storm Sandy would hit NY but I was prepared with what I needed to make it through the storm for the most part.

I never expected Donald Trump to even make it through the debates let alone the primaries to then win the election but I sure voted for him even though my vote, being I lived in NY at the time, meant little but here he is as President Trump. I was ready for a guy like him to finally be in office and I'd like to see him stay there but I am prepared for it if he somehow is defeated.

I did not expect to see the market fall like it has fallen and that all the gains of the Trump era would be lost in a few days of mad trading driven by a Saudi/Russian oil spat and by a virtually unknown virus but they have happened and are ongoing to one extent or another.

I do not foresee the future nor do I expect calamity to occur tomorrow but I am at least somewhat ready if it does happen. I tend to prepare for the worst that way usually am not caught unprepared and wishing I had prepared. All I am saying is that his Corona Virus crap - now with the added extreme downturn in the market - could be what is needed to give Dems the crisis they have been waiting for which they will use to their advantage and President Trump's disadvantage. Things can always get worse. If you do not think so then go on your merry way until somehow, somewhere, sometime you find yourself wishing you had better prepared.

My job takes me to the Pacific Northwest quite a bit. The consensus up there (at least among the libs I can tolerate hanging out with) seems to be the Dem ticket is all about the VP. They know Sleepy Joe will just be a puppet for someone else's agenda so they are watching for the VP announcement to determine whether they vote for Joe or stay home.

Should he somehow defeat President Trump, I do not think he will live past the first year of his presidency (either by natural death or death by another leftist hand) before whichever woman (I think he indicated such a pick but if not then it's my guess he will pick a woman) he chooses as his running mate becomes president. If he does live all he will amount to is a being a puppet president.

As my EDC handgun is now my new ZIGANA K, I'll be needing a few hundred more rounds of 124 grain Plus-P JHP for it.
(ImVho, anybody who wants a "near full-size 9mm" that holds 16 rounds would do WELL to get a "K". ====> It's about the same size & weight as a Colt's Commander, ALL forged aircraft aluminum/stainless steel components & beautifully machined, too.)

SGAmmo and AmmoEmpire are both back up but with significantly increased prices and less inventory to chose from.

I just watched people on gunbroker paying $0.65 a round for Blazer aluminum .45ACP. This despite brass cased Remington being available from Bass Pro for $0.33 a round delivered (I bought 1000rds). I did get a good deal on a case of .45ACP Critical Defence on gunbroker for just a bit more than TargetSportsUSA was selling it for a month ago.

From the names of the other bidders it seemed they were gun stores looking to flip it but must have been asleep at the wheel when I put in a last minute, winning bid. The other case from same seller went for more than the one I bought.
