Achieved my lowest SD ever

We really do have it easy these days, the quality of components and firearms is outstanding compared to even a decade ago.

Here's a few interesting tidbits. Took the 6.5x47L out today ran 9 across the chrono (thought I had shot 10 but miscounted before looking at the archived data). Had decent sd of 7 for the 9rds. Stretched it out a little after that put 2 on top of each other at 500 and shot the other 8 at 900yds. Now the wind was pretty switchy tail wind to full value at 9:00 to 3:00 which alone is enough for a 5" deviation. Now the sd deviation should have added another 5" to the grand scheme but it printed a nice 6" vertical which was all wind based off wind switch after follow up shots so in theory a much smaller deviation overall. String on target was fired over about a 15min time frame.

How did you calculate the SD spread number?

I’ve had some that low but when I go shoot again I don’t get so lucky lol my creedmoor now is pretty consistent at SD 4 and ES 9-13 if I do my part and trim and make the brass perfect and measure my charge right. Congrats though. That’s awesome.
