    Yet one might want to be careful with generalities as theories of how things work. Some generalities have more holes in them than others. :)

    Not saying I agree or disagree with that theory, only that it is an interesting one.

    Generalities and stereo-types are seldom rooted in reality.

    Unless someone determines where each and every politician grew up, rural or urban, and know exactly what stance they have on defending gun rights, or pushing for more gun control, the theory just doesn't stand up.

    But back on track, the OP's statement was to, in essence try and deal with anti-gun politicians with reason and logic, rather than by making demands of them. That is just ridiculous. That is making the assumption that an anti-gun politician can be reasoned with.

    You know what politicians listen to? Voting numbers. That was why the NRA held a lot of political clout for many years with politicians. Because they represented a very large voting block, and could have an impact on elections.

    With so much voter fraud, and election tampering, I'm not so sure that even really matters anymore though.
