    I sold a bunch of the Laserlyte branded pistol bayonets (blade by KA-Bar) very very sharp....then I couldn't get them anymore..............

    If you seriously would mount a knife on your pistol, please explain what you suppose it would do for you defensively.

    If someone advances fast enough and pushes the slide of the pistol back out of battery after its drawn it will not fire. If I can't fire then I just need to drive the bayonet into the bad guy at which point he will likely step back which will then put the pistol back into battery. I will then proceed to incur additional damage by firing the pistol as I originally intended. :D

    I thought they were stupid and useless on black powder revolvers. Those empty made better clubs than daggers.

    Now show me a 12 gage shotgun to go on a rail as a backup device and I might consider it.
