9mm AR magazines not dropping free

I’ve a spikes 9mm AR and a converted Tavor (both take Colt pattern magazines).

Among my brands, the IWI and C Profuct ones all function well and drop free. For some reason Metalform, ASC and Brownells need to be stripped out when I hit the mag release.

Has anyone experienced this same issue?

The oddest part is that I believe metalform makes most of the other “brand” magazines.

We have a AR9, next range trip will bring it. Our magazines are Stainless Steel by CPI (Cproducts) and they all work 100%.

Make sure your mag release is releasing all the way. Also sharpie the mag where the mag well touches. See where it touches. Maybe clean the mag up a lil with flitz and a dremel. Your gonna run into tolerance differences with different lowers and mag makers
