My experience with PPU ammo has been very pleasant so far, imho Prvi Partizan is much better than most surplus ammo that I have tried.

    From the reviews....

“This ammo is amazing. It saved my life while I was hiking with my girlfriend. We came across a grizzly bear and it started chasing us. I reached for my Torkarev not sure if it would be enough to let me get away. But wow it really surprised me. All it took was one shot to my girlfriend's knee and I was able to get away while the bear was eating her. This ammo is amazing. Thank you for selling such a wonderful product.”

I'll stick to S&B steel core ball ammo for my M52...

I'll load my own. My 1911 needs a shorter OAL than standard to fit the magazine anyway.

    You have a 1911 chambered in 7.62x25?

Bought a barrel in 7.62 x 25 a few years back, fits a 38 Super/9x19 slide. Only issue is the cartridge OA, only 2 rounds of factory will fit a 38 Super magazine. Honestly bought so long ago I don't remember who it came from! I think it was a production run that Gun Parts Corp (Numrich Arms) had done.

    That's cool! A 1911 in a Commie round.

My nephew was just looking at a conversion kit for that. Found somewhere on the inner-tube.
