I've met you and you don't have a problem with over eating!
Put it this way. When I was in my 20's my mother said wait until I'm 30. When I was in my 30's my mother said wait until I'm 40. She died when I was in my 40's, but I felt as if she would have said wait until I'm 50. I'm now in my 60's, and while certainly I would love to have my 20's body now, my weight never fluctuated more than 5 lbs. in either direction in all this time. What now seems a blessing was a curse in my 20's. I then worked very hard to build muscle, and while I had gotten very lean and mean, I was never considered muscle bound.

    Last 30 days.

112 miles walked or steps equal to

    11642 extra calories burned.

Thank God morphine and percocet. All that in the heat of the day in the short 30 min or so window my extra pain meds gives me..

    Reality......

I've fallen 5 or 6 times in that month cause when I bend over my legs arent working again. My pain levels are up the rest of the time and I'm needing to use my walking stick.

Depressing. The results of my last surgery are falling off.

Over the last 7 years I’ve been walking the same 3 mile route, 2 or 3 times a week. My pedometer used to read 3.1 or so miles. Lately, it has been reading 3.3 or 3.4 miles. Florida must be growing. I think it has to do with all the rain.

You might be walking the same route but are you walking in the same (foot prints) straight line that you always walk? If you see something you want to get a closer look at and walk to your left or right, it will add to the steps you walk.

Know a guy who just hit 26K miles. He averages about 11 miles a day.

You need to calibrate your tracker
Sometimes they can be way off

I guess it was a lame joke.
I was implying that as I get older my steps keep getting shorter. Soon I’ll be just shuffling along with my cane, grumbling.
