    My first 10mm, I happened across an individual with a chronograph at the range.
    He allowed me to shoot the 10mm, and .40 through it.
    My WWB .40 was 2 FPS faster than the off the shelf 10mm I purchased.

    I've never fired a 10mm but that is a little surprising. What weights were the projectiles? My guess is somewhere around 165gr to 180gr for the 40 and probably 200gr for the 10mm. Again, I'm not that familiar with the 10mm other than a couple of articles I've read, b so I'm learning here. Also, were the barrel lengths comparable?

    It was a G23 vs a S&W 1006.
    4" barrel vs 5" barrel.
    The .40 was 180 grain.
    I believe the 10mm was Remington 180 grain as well.

    Well, this was probably 10 years ago, and off the shelf stuff has gotten better.

    I only buy Underwood, Double Tap, or Buffalo Bore when it comes to 10mm.
