Huh. I stand corrected on henry. And for the record I did not say Remington is making rifles, however since this cartridge is their baby, they have to do the legwork to get other manufacturers to make guns in said caliberI'm not following. Remington does not manufacture rifles, and Henry already released their 360 chambered rifle. Also I can't think of one modern gun chambered in 350 legend that would work with a rimmed cartridge, other that a single shot break open which would be ridiculously easy to chamber in any caliber.
ETA- I thought of one. The Ruger American/Ranch. I don't see that one getting the Buckhammer, but time will tell.
So, basically it only exists for the small number of hunters in a select few states who don't already have a rifle(s) in a straight walled cartridge and that aren't going to be satisfied with the several other cartridges that are common for hunting in their state and that are probably far more available in their area?Ahh, but here is a reason, and you have already said it. Most straight wall states have a maximum case length limit of.....
you guessed it, 1.8", the exact case length of the 360BH.

Yes.
Just like the 350 Legend.
We all know what a total failure it was, can’t even find ammo for it.
It is what it is.
If you decide to get one you’d best buy every last round you can.
Loaded or empty brass.
In a few years you will not be able to.
