Did a little better yesterday with the 22TCM ammo.
The trigger did surprise me a few times. Will put the pull gauge on it when I get a chance as it seems very light. Having an overtravel set screw is a very nice feature too.
Getting back into a nice 1911 trigger will take a bit of getting used to compared to my Glocks and double action revolvers.
15 yards kneeling down with arms on the table. I also painted the front sight orange which made a big difference.
The 9mm barrel is having some issues with the latest batch of handloads.
Last time out I used up the last of my copper plated bullets so this time I had Lasercast hard cast bullets.
They don't seem to be playing well with the Rock Island 9mm conversion. The rifling seems very shallow but it did well enough the last time out with the plated bullets.
I didn't have any factory ammo or another 9mm with to test further. I also haven't put the calipers on the bullets yet to see if they are undersized.
Lots of tumbling going on and they were going everywhere.
